What does Jim Jordan spend all his time on?

Let's take a look.

For starters, one day we noticed that almost all of Jim's tweets were linked to Fox News.

That got us thinking... how much time does Jim actually spend talking about real issues... and how much time does he spend peddling conspiracy theories across cable news and his social media platforms?

So we did the math.

From November 1 to February 10

Jim made 32 appearances on Cable News (Fox, CNN, MSNBC)

  • 28 appearances making partisan attacks on the FBI and Justice Department in an effort to discredit the Russia investigation

  • 2 appearances discussing shutting down the government

  • 2 appearances justifying a trillion dollar tax cut for the rich

  • 0 appearances highlighting the impact of the Opioid Epidemic in OH-4

  • 0 appearances fighting against the closure of community health centers in the district

  • 0 appearances talking about our crumbling infrastructure

  • 0 appearances supporting bipartisan compromise

Knowing Jim, this wasn't particularly shocking, but we wanted to dig more. So we took a look at Jim's social media over this same period.

From November 1 to February 10

Jim made 143 Tweets / Retweets

  • 60 tweets making partisan attacks on the FBI and Justice Department in an effort to discredit the Russia investigation

  • 5 tweets about shutting down the government

  • 4 tweets justifying a trillion dollar tax cut for the rich

  • 0 tweets highlighting the impact of the Opioid Epidemic in OH-4

  • 0 tweets supporting funding community health centers in the district

  • 0 tweets about our crumbling infrastructure

  • 0 tweets supporting bipartisan compromise

Facebook looked pretty similar

Jim made 32 posts on Facebook

  • 12 posts making partisan attacks on the FBI and Justice Department in an effort to discredit the Russia investigation

  • 2 posts justifying a trillion dollar tax cut for the rich

  • 0 posts highlighting the impact of the Opioid Epidemic in OH-4

  • 0 posts supporting funding community health centers in the district

  • 0 posts about our crumbling infrastructure

  • 0 posts supporting bipartisan compromise

It is no surprise to anyone that Jim Jordan loves talking about the FBI and the Russia investigation. It has long been his personal favorite; how could a deep state conspiracy theory that paints Hillary Clinton as corrupt and Donald Trump as a victim not be the center of his attention?

However, it’s reaching a point of absurdity. He has let this consume his work in Congress, ultimately casting aside the needs of his constituents.

We need someone to represent OH-4 that will fight for workers, teachers, children, and families. Jim's priorities are clearly out of sync with the people he is supposed to represent.
